I thought I would write this post about music which calms me down and some which seems to distract me from my anxiety.
Glass animals- specially youth etc. A very cool band I have discovered recently as they have very chill, indie rock music which seems to calm me down.
Catfish and the bottlemen- cocoon,tyrants
The Hunna- any of their album but I love piece by piece, rock this way
Fall out boy- Dance dance (one of my all time favourite songs) or most of their other songs.
Anything by the wombats but specially Greek Tragedy (classics links ey), give me a try etc
21 pilots- house of gold, stressed out, the judge. Very very catchy songs to distract from my anxiety.
Let it go James Bay- a very calming song with nice lyrics!
Justin Timberlake cry me a river- v calming with nice lyrics.
Lego house, small bump, a team, Galway girl etc by Ed Sheeran. Sometimes you just need some Ed right? He is an amazing singer songwriter who makes the most catchy and relaxing tunes.
Taylor swift- 22, love story, style etc
Katy Perry- hot n cold, roar etc as they are very feel good songs.
Kristian Kostov-beautiful mess as it is a slow song to start with but it’s very uplifting with very good background music.
Picking up the pieces by Paloma Faith
Paradise Laidback Luke. A very easy going and chill song.
Bo Bruce- save me. A slow, very beautiful song.
Ellie Goulding- still falling for you. A very uplifting song plus I LOVE Bridget Jones’ diary.
Ariana Grande- focus, why try
Selena Gomez- same old love. Is quite a positive and sassy song in many ways which isn’t difficult to listen to.
Huntar- 4am. A very catchy tune if you happen to be awake at 4 in the morning.
5sos (anything) as I have many happy school memories that seem to be to 5sos songs, plus they have such great lyrics too.
Rap music- when I feel very stressed I like to listen to rap music as I have an auditory memory I seem to feel comfort in the many lyrics!!

Kanye west-clique, touch the sky
50 cent too occasionally
If you are feeling v stressed out, I find wind chime music and the sounds of rain to be very calming too!
